The summer has one week left in Abilene. I know my students aren’t all that excited, but I am. This summer was so much smoother than last summer, but I always get excited about the school year and the great things we do during it. This past summer my highlight was going to Mexico and working in Saltillo. We had a great group go. We had fun and worked hard. This past Wednesday we had our Mexico reunion and showed our slideshow. It was a blast to see everyone and remember our awesome time. My personal highlight of the summer was going to Vegas with Leah. We had a real relaxing and adventurous time. It’s back to school for her and for me. She started back yesterday getting things ready to teach her four year olds again and I went yesterday to get my books for my fall classes. We are looking forward to a great school year with new twists and turns! This is going to be a great year!
I will be taking church history and intermediate Greek. As well as doing full-time ministry. It may seem like a lot, but I enjoy being busy, learning, and ministering to students. I just schedule out my week and stick to it. So the summer is closing and new energy is in me!
