Well, I haven’t written since April I think and I had officially decided to give up blogging. However, I keep up our Parent blog for our ministry and had a minute today, so I thought I would say a few words. God has called me to some amazing things in my life and has given me some amazing opportunities.
Every time I go to the Shell station to get my morning Diet Dr. Pepper I enter into the world and allow the Spirit to guide me into being hospitable.
I feel the call of God in my life everyday whether it’s a good one or bad one
I have a great wife that shows God’s love through her patience with me and her unconditional love for my boys
I have some really awesome friends who manage to make me laugh just when I need it and inspire me to follow Jesus.
Ministry to students is one of the most rewarding jobs I could ever have
There is nothing more geniuine than the smile, laughter, and cries from my two sons
There are things in life that matter greatly and things in life that barely matter
The church isn’t horrible, it’s Holy because God is Holy
I can’t imagine life without twin boys.
The older I get, the less I know
The journey of spiritual formation is worth every tear, ache, sorrow, joy, and challenge.
